About Us

Our teachers are educated in early childhood education. We emphasize morals, integrity, and honesty while your child is with us. Our facility is safe and secure. We believe that all young children have a right to get a winning start at life, which usually starts at their first school. When you leave your child with us you can feel secure knowing they are safe and learning how to interact with others and the world around them in a classroom environment. Here at Kid'z College Preparatory Preschool, we strive to achieve the following list of goals.

  • To prepare children for kindergarten, including teaching independence and self-help skills along with full visual alphabet recognition.

  • To provide the opportunity for creative self-expression through play, music, and art.

  • To develop each child's social skills by sharing, helping, and interacting with others.

  • To provide an enjoyable and rewarding experience in a school setting.

  • To nurture a positive self-image in each child.

  • To offer curriculum areas of creative arts, science, math, language, imaginative play, health, and large and small motor skills.

  • To enhance curriculum with educational topics including sign language, environment, safety, and nutrition, in addition to special classroom visitors.

  • To offer curriculum that is theme-based for ages 2 - 5 years.

  • To teach children to understand and accept responsiblity for their own behavior.

We believe that children learn through play. During this time, children choose from a variety of activities, including a sensory box, play dough, blocks, books, creative art, dramatic play, science and nature, puzzles, puppets, and games. We also provide table time art projects. This provides language opportunities, such as talking about the calendar, weather, and / or sharing thoughts with classmates. A daily art project linked to a theme or letter of the week allows children to mature in following directions, thier fine motor skills, and creative expression.

Young children need time to practice using their gross motor skills in everyday situations, the opportunity to run in large areas, practice hoping on one foot, crawling or leaping, and helping children to develop their control in coordination of their bodies.
